I’ve been a volunteer for SACS for the past three years. I came to volunteer my time because I wanted to start giving back to my community in my own little way , as well as to develop a better relationship to my own -life circumstances so that whenever they show up their ugly faces The training with SACS was inspiring in itself: such a parade of bright, heartful people sharing their knowledge of humanity. I meet some good people during my time of training . I come away from these experiences, feeling I’ve gained at least as much from the time spent as volunteered. And for the few hours a week I spend at this place. the impact is disproportionately rich for me. Thank you, SACS, for believing in me and giving me the chance to volunteer for my community.
